There are rules posted in the parking lot of the league field.  There is no alcohol allowed inside the park or play areas.  Check rules inside Recreation Centers.

 

We ask that all players and

fans obey by these house

keeping rules.  Recycle

when possible.  BE sure

to clean the dugout / play area when

your game is done. Thanks in advance!

 

Note:  There are no refunds after payments are made.  Part of our funds do go to charity.

 

Recreation Centers / Parks & Decatur Women’s Sports League is not responsible for injuries.  Play nice!

 

 

          

Rained Out Games: Please note that every attempt is made to reschedule rained out softball games during the spring / summer season.  It is dependant on availability of the field through the parks and recreation department.

 

During the fall league, usually there is not a rain date to make up any games, as towards the end of the season it becomes to cold for most to play. This matter is again, dependant on availability of the field through the parks and recreation dept.

 

The league has someone to check the condition of the fields late in the day, game day for your safety, prior to a possible rainout.

 

Your coaches are notified as such.  They as well have a phone number to call to confirm rained out games.

Players are to check with their coaches if the game is still on due to dark clouds over head.

 

Last minute rain or storms

which cause a cancelation,

are unfortunate.  Stay in

contact with your coach right

up to game time.  It maybe raining where you are but not at the ball field.

 

 

Know this: your generous dollar donations to play in this league are part of our charity program.  It is totally in the spirit of giving that has made this league possible!

 

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.  We look forward to clear and sunny game dates.

Always contact the Team Leader of the sport you are playing if… weather, road conditions, etc. may be hazards to you during travel to and from the play events.  Events may or may not have been canceled, due to safety issues.
